美国的汽车文化是美国文化重要的组成部分，汽车在年轻人的生活有着非常重要的地位，美国年轻人的成人礼就是获得一部汽车。影视作品里我们常常能看到美国的青少年们开着车去到66号公路，去到远方。而现在美国年轻人拥有一台车也不是容易的事情了。首先，犹豫汽车的造车成本高了。以前都是机械装置的汽车，再破修一修还能开，所以当时的家庭就能给一台很便宜的二手车给自己的孩子做礼物。而现在的汽车都是电脑集成中控系统，一坏就报废，维修成本也高。所以美国孩子就不能像以前那样容易的拥有一台汽车了，而且现在拿驾照也不是件容易的事情了。不过虽然美国孩子没有了汽车但是他们有了智能手机啊。
